  • Newport Uni - sort your roof out!

    Twice in the past year have bits been flying of the campus roof at Newport University. Lets just remind ourselves that it cost £35M to build and it can't even stand a gust of wind. I hope the people who built it are going to pay for it to be repaired. Traffic chaos, student chaos, absolutely ridiculous!!!

  • Morris Cowan closing

    So sad to see that Morris Cowan is closing after almost 60 years., as my Dad worked here for a few months back in the 70's. The council does not do enough to help local businesses so we are now looking at another empty shop or retail unit until another drinks or cafe licence is applied for and of course granted. They should be ashamed.

    Thought there was a housing shortage and yet there are plans to knock down 300 homes to widen the M4. Soon this beautiful country of ours will be just concrete! Disgraceful.
